'The Perfect Spitfire'

Probably the most famous and best loved of all Spitfires still flying today, MH434 was built in 1943 at Vickers, Castle Bromwich. Since 1970, it has participated across Europe as a key performer in the most famous airshows, including Flying Legends, the Biggin Hill Air Fair, the Paris and Berlin Air Fairs and the Goodwood Revival.

The aerobatic display from this icon is amazing to both watch and hear. Available for displays at airshows, weddings and private events; all that is needed is an open area of countryside to display over.

MH 434 is based at the historic airfield, Duxford (now home to the Imperial War Museum), where it is maintained and operated with great pride by the Old Flying Machine Company (OFMC). OFMC pilots are amongst the most experienced display pilots in the world and will provide an exciting and memorable display for your audience. The unique OFMC duo, a close formation aerobatic display is flown with OFMC’s famous P-51D Mustang Ferocious Frankie.

We are set up purely for display & film flying and are completely focussed on this. We are not distracted by other business interests and we have unrivalled expertise in our specialist area.
